Glenn co-founded Streamware Corporation, a technology start-up whose breakthrough software application, mobile handheld device, and syndicated data service revolutionized the vending industry's technology sophistication. Seven years after founding the company, Glenn achieved an exit strategy sale to Crane Co., a $3 billion global company.
C-Level: At Cantaloupe Systems
As President of Cantaloupe Systems, a pre-VC investment operating company, Glenn was tasked with helping the founders raise money and expand the business. He hired key management, established an offshore development team, and succeeded in raising $5 million in investment capital.
C-Level: At Crane Merchandising Systems
Glenn returned to Crane Co.’s Crane Merchandising Systems division as Chief Technology Officer, where he charted the company’s strategic technology direction. At Crane he oversaw major account business development, strategic planning, M&A, and strategic planning initiatives. Glenn directed Crane’s entry into remote monitoring of vending machines with the development of a telemetry-based Mobile-to-Mobile application.
Glenn is a long-time member of the vending industry's Standard Boards and most recently co-authored the Vending Data Interchange (VDI) standard. He is a contributing editor to Automatic Merchandiser, the vending industry trade publication.
Throughout his career, Glenn has been a mentor and advisor to young technology companies. He is on the board of IContain, a wireless technology, remote management solutions provider.
